With the recent addition of media delivery options to the Brightcove API we have removed the RTMP to HTTP URL method from Echove, opting to replace it with a global Echove property that can be set for every API call, or passed as a parameter for specific calls.

If you rely on the downloadUrl() method in your application, please DO NOT upgrade to the latest version of Echove without first implementing the required changes as outlined in the Brightcove UDS Support Document, or without amending the RTMP URL conversion code to Echove.

This notice is being sent as the change can be considered to break backwards compatibility but the new version number doesn't reflect this.

Due to the tremendous amount of changes implemented during the 1.0.0 developement cycle, this version is not compatible with any previous version of Echove. Please use the Upgrade Guide as a reference for code updates.
